Counselling qualifications
MSc in Counselling Psychology, Keele University.
Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology, Keele University.
Certificate in Counselling, Keele University.
My specialist training includes RNIB-accredited sight loss counselling and CBT for Insomnia (the gold standard treatment). I continue to learn from the latest research to build on my experience and inform my practice. I have also undertaken training in many other specific areas via workshops and continuing professional development, including:
Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy which is proven to reduce the risk of recurrent depression for people who have experienced repeated episodes.
Counselling neurodivergent clients (Understanding Autism level 3 and other training)

I have Accredited Professional Registrant membership of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). The NCPS register is accredited under a scheme set up by the Department of Health and approved by The Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.

I have an enhanced DBS (was CRB) check and I’m fully insured.
